Fixed Term Cover – 11 Months

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Ediston Homes. You will be part of a small but close-nit team where everybody’s voice is heard, and you will have the ability to genuinely influence and shape direction in this key role.

You will be the single point of management for all Sales & Marketing activity and will be based primarily in Ediston’s award -winning Edinburgh City Centre offices in the heart of St. Andrew Square. However the opportunity to work flexibly will be available, and you will also need to visit sites therefore a car and a driving licence is essential.

Reporting to the Managing Director and Commercial Director, you will be expected to:

• Create and execute digital marketing strategies including social media content, email campaigns, website updates and development, and blog creation.
• Create and deliver offline marketing activities such as signage and local advertising.
• Undertake development marketing activities such as logo design, brochure creation, Show Home design, sales office establishment, marketing material for online portals.
• Facilitate photography of local areas and development sites as well as assisting with development of CGI’s.
• Work with external agencies in the creation and delivery of marketing materials, campaigns and online portal listings.
• Creation of PR releases and opportunities.
• Develop, maintain and report on sales and marketing budgets
• Research and forecast sales prices for developments under consideration
• Work closely with onsite sales advisors to assist in the management of sales activities, reporting to head office and price forecasting.
• Advise on house type specification and assist in the selection of client choices and extras.
• Develop, manage and maintain CRM as well as utilise data to inform decision making.
• Regularly prepare and present ongoing sales and marketing activities and information.
• Remain informed on market and mortgage trends.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding client choices, updates and rectification.
• Liaise with clients and potential prospects to schedule appointments, feedback or mitigate complaints.
• Liaise with conveyancing solicitors
• Support Directors with ad hoc requests

Previous experience working for a housebuilder is not essential although Sales & Marketing experience is required. A keen interest in residential development, new homes and current trends for show home fit-out, specification and interior design would be beneficial.

The job holder must have right to work in the UK.

Hours

3 Days per week 08.30 – 17.00 (working days are flexible but should include a Thursday)

Negotiable dependent on experience
